Good evening, everyone! Debby(debbysrose) here with today’s installment of the ScrapMatters Gallery Standouts.

First up is Scavenger Hunt by missi_me. I just love the colors in this kit and the bright and bold elements really pop against the purple background Melissa used in her layout. Her clusters and shadows are just awesome.

Another layout with a perfect background choice to complement the bold colors of the elements and layers is Happy by Trista. I really like how she used all the different solids behind the wordart cutouts and how those colors are repeated in the title. That messy stitching is great!

I struggle with double pagers so always appreciate one that catches my eye like this one. I guess I was into bold, bright colors on what has been a very gloomy day here. Party Gras by QuiltyMom does a fabulous job of catching the vibrant fun of a Disney parade. I love the title alpha and the saturated photo treatment she used.

Precious Moment by catgoddess is so perfectly titled. I can’t think of a better combination than the orange and coral flowers on the elegant gray damask background paper. That photo really is so precious.

This next layout is so adorable. I think the page design march_76 used in Joaquin is just fabulous. The clustered crescent tucked inside the big circle cutout, the stamp under the photo and the wonderful photo treatment all works so well together. I really love how she used the kit.

I adore MoodyJudy’s clusters and shadow work and her work in her layout I Adore You is no exception.

Well, I could go on for a while longer, but I will stop so you can head over to the gallery and find some inspiration of your own. Be sure to leave some love for the ones that catch your eye.

I have been browsing the gallery today looking for inspiration and as usual I am never disappointed! So here I am to share with you some of my favorites from today.

First up is this gorgeous page from misses_M – Staring off into the distance. The photo is amazing and is showcased perfectly in this large size. The added touch of the clusters and the sweet journaling make this page a stunning work of art.

The pretty patterned pinks from Great Grandma by ChistyHC caught my eye in the gallery and I had to have a closer look. I really like all of the shapes with the different patterned papers and how some of them are stitched down. This is a super page!

Fly Girl Minnie from WenRob is super cute and cluster-tastic! I really like how the red popped off of the blue background but couldn’t stop gandering once I took a closer look.

I completely relate to Why I Scrap from gaylemaupin. Not only is this a subject near and dear to my heart but also a real beauty. I especially like the title work.

We Go Together by susan0326 has a fun series of photos but I really fell for the super cute title!

Last, but certainly not least is this super cute hybrid card from the uber creative and talented SandyPie.

I hope these beauties inspire you in some way. Have a terrific day!

Hi there, greetings from a chilly Cape Town today, we have snow on neighbouring mountains and are feeling the change in the weather. I have chosen some delightful layouts found while perusing the gallery, hope that you will leave them some love, be inspired and upload your own pages for us to ooh and aah over.

First up is:

Slice of summer by Trista - I love the neutral kraft back ground, the script and alpha combination on the title is gorgeous. I love the colourful foundation of brushwork and scatters. Love that the name and date are a fabulous typewriter font. The design for the layers of papers is unusual yet charming, fabulous clusters and sprinkles of perfectly shadowed flowers, greenery and buttoned down string.

Budapest by Iowan - Wow, what’s not to love? Firstly it’s a double with the most amazing jaw dropping scenery pictures. I adore the use of the pocket to add the personal touch of the travel ephemera. Love the arrow pointing to the sweetly framed head in the gargoyle’s mouth. The use of embellishments add details and interest, making me want to look and find more nuggets to delight over.

First Coaster by colson – I love the different colours doodles and loops on the back ground paper, so perfect for the theme of the roller coaster. Love the compact design and the use of flags, arrow and banner to create fun and movement. Fabulous shadows on the title make the A especially rise above the rest. The stitching along the edge gives an anchor to the back ground and the small embellishment clusters are perfect additions.

First day by Ramona – love the blocked design, great use of patterned paper to add colour and charming details, like the map. I love that the brackets draw attention to the photo, the hand written type font for the journaling is perfect, the stacked travel elements tucked in  behind are fabulous, also love the brushwork on the neutral back ground. So much to absorb and admire.

Happiness GL24 by Amy – I love boy layouts and toothless boys have a very special charm. That mischievous expression is just perfect. I adore the pun in the title, love the way the alphas are layered and shaded to create interest and depth. I also admire the profusion of flowers and sparkle on a boy page. Gorgeous handwritten font gives the perfect thoughtful touch. Well done.

Meeting Rapunzel by Kelseyll – I love the mini cluster above the journaling, it makes the story an integral part of the design and I adore that! The use of banners are spot on the trend and add a festive feel to the page as well as directing the eye from left to right. I love the bright patterned papers, they are perfect for a little girl layout. Love the pen on top of the autograph. Fabulous title work and a superb series of photos telling the story.

Its that time of the day again Blog Readers!!  Today as I went through the gallery, I was inspired to scrap by all the beautiful pages flooding the gallery!!  I have to admit, its very hard to go through the gallery and only pick just five layouts to share with you each day!  Today is no exception; there is a lot of beauty within ScrapMatters Gallery!!

The first one that I immediately fell in love with was Dotcomkari’s Why Must You Grow layout

She captured every mother’s wish, to stop time so that we can enjoy our children a couple moments longer!!  I love her beautiful clustering both under the photos and on top of the photos!  What amazes me the most is that not only does she use one alpha in her titlework, she uses three different font alphas!!  Amazing layout, beautiful composition, really made me remember those days when I held my baby close wishing they would never grow older!

This next one, you thought that first one was precious….let me tell you, this next one from Trista just captures your heart with Not One More Bite

You sit there, taking in the overall beauty of the layout from the fishing elements, to the greenery all the way to the rough alpha.  And then it hits you, that poor little boy is standing in the corner, having faith that he’ll catch his fish.  Before you know it, you are caught in staring, hoping, wishing there was an update that he finally caught his fish.  Yup, this layout really captures your heart through and through!

We’ll say enough to the heart-capturing layouts and move on to simple beauty!  VanillaDesignz’s Rejuvenation layout is the perfect layout!

Everything is so soft and beautiful on this page!  It makes you almost want to make sure nothing lands on the page, smudges it, its so beautifully scrapped!  I love the falling petals from the flowers with the touch of the butterfly adding more movement to the page.  She captured a beautiful moment in the photos and scrapped it marvelously!

This next one is from Mye, Ready to Go

You can see the excitement on their faces, its screaming “Im ready!” I love the beautiful placement of the photos and the clustering down the left hand side of the layout with the little travel things sticking out, teasing you that its time.  Then you glance, there’s journaling about the girls traveling on their first trip.  Before you know it, there’s another beautiful cluster off to the side, offsetting the entire layout!!  Your eyes have to go back to the photos and work your way around the layout, taking it all in, marveling at the placement of everything!

I have to show you one more layout and then I have to go, but I couldn’t leave without showing you Maaike’s Garden Party Layout

I love how she was able to include so many photos on to her page, without overwhelming it!  I love when you can look at a layout and see photos of what is happening, to get a better idea about the moment they are scrapping!  She achieved that with her amount of photos!  I love her beautiful clustering on this page with the word tabs and word elements emphasizing her layout!!   The vertical flow of the layout is the perfect view for this lovely layout!

Well that’s all the time that I have.  If you wish to see more beautiful layouts, then head on over to ScrapMatters Gallery

Until next time . . . .

Hello blog readers!!  Today I bring you five new and fabulous layouts that I found while cruising around ScrapMatters Gallery!  If you are ever needing any scrap inspiration, look no further as the gallery is filled with lots of inspiration!!

Scrappymelly’s Country Girl layout really stood out in the gallery today

I love her larger than life title.  When you think of country, you think of COUNTRY and she nailed it with her perfect titlework!!  Her clustering is amazing as is her shadowing.  This layout is easily an instant favorite of mine!

I discovered the next layout right before coming to post to this blog.  I am glad I did because its super sweet!  Lionsimba’s Proud Mom layout is a hit!

I love the baby blue mixed with the hint of browns, its a perfect mixture of color, especially when you pop in the extra colors!!  Her clustering is amazing down the side of the layout, but just like the layout above, its the title that drew me in from the gallery.  I had to take another look and I am glad that I did!

Kelin’s Afternoon Nap is simply too sweet for words!

I can’t believe her daughter is laying on her puppy like that, let alone the puppy is letting her snuggle!!  I love this moment!  This is something that every child should experience, the love of a fur-friend!  This layout is very sweet and nicely scrapped!

Shabby Abby’s Fun Ride layout is awesome, I dot know what other words I could use to describe it could be!

Love the pages down the right hand side with her fabulous clustering!!  The layout is complete with the beautiful blend on the background paper!  Seriously, if you are looking at this layout, it should make you want to be there because I know I want to ride on that Disney Carousel right now!!  This is a beautifully scrapped layout!

I guess I have one more time to show you another layout . . . I found this one First Instagram from Lionsimba

While I don’t personally use Instagram, I know a lof of my friends do use Instagram.  After looking at all their photos, I think this is a great way to preserve something that has become such a trend in our culture!  I love her blocking across the layout with the beautiful colored frames and journaling spot under the photo, telling its story!  I love how she incorporated something from culture on to her layout!

Well blog readers, that’s all I got for you today.  If you need more inspiration, please feel free to check out the ScrapMatters Gallery.

Hello! Hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday!! Shabby Abby here to showcase some of the fabulous LOs that are in the SM gallery right now (all linked to SM for leavin’ some love)!!!

This fab one by catgoddes is simply called love. But the layout itself is anything but simple! Amazing and breathtaking is more like it with that sweet pic and great clustering :)

And this one named Bookworm just popped out of the gallery at me! I love all the colors and circles. Just an overall wonderful design!

Here’s one called Backseat Driver by Iowan that is just fantastic! The bright pop of color, all the paper layering, use of elements and adorable pic just makes it so wonderful! And I got a little chuckle out of the quote bubble!

Project 2012 week 16- 6 by MrsPeel is just awesome!! I love the way she made simple, everyday pics look so cool!

Another picture-less LO that caught my eye tonight is this one titled Chef Mickey’s by Neverland Scraps. The clustering and title work is superb!!
